Scotland’s men’s rugby team had a convincing win over England in Edinburgh on Saturday with a fourth win in a row – a record last achieved in 1896.

The star of the show was undoubtedly Duhan van der Merwe who scored three tries, with co-captain Finn Russell kicking successfully six times, delighting at least a part of the 67,000+ crowd at Scottish Gas Murrayfield.

With a half time score of 17-13 Duhan scored his third try from a pass after a run by Redpath and a kick from Russell. This makes his total 26 tries in 37 outings for the national side, and unsurprisingly van den Merwe was named Player of the match at the 142nd Scotland v England meeting.
