East of Scotland Tennis has appointed three new non-executive directors.

They are Michelle McLeod, Matthew Meredith and Scott Douglas who were all elected to the Board at the recent East of Scotland Tennis AGM.

Each is credited with bringing knowledge and understanding of sponsorship and events management, media and communications as well as final and insurance industries.

Michelle McLeod has over 25 years’ experience working in marketing within the private, public and charitable sectors. Her sponsorship experience stretches across the arts, entertainment and sport – at one stage managing sponsorship of Wheelchair Tennis Champion, Gordon Reid.

Matthew Meredith has a background in Insurance and Financial Services in the City of London, where he is the CEO of a specialist insurance and risk management broker dedicated to the entertainment, sports and media industries.

Edinburgh-based Scott Douglas is a member of both the Priestfield and Musselburgh clubs. He works in media and communications for the UK Government’s Department for Business and Trade.

Michelle McLeod previously managed wheelchair tennis champion, Gordon Reid.
Matthew Meredith joins with an insurance background including sporting clients.
