Five matches including Hibs trip to Palmerston have been selected by BBC and Premier Sports for the Scottish Cup Third Round which will take place next weekend, starting on Friday, 2 April with a highland derby.

Ross County will play host to Inverness Caledonian Thistle who fought off Buckie Thistle in a narrow 3-2 victory last night.

Newly appointed Stephen Glass will lead his Aberdeen side in their away tie to Dumbarton which will be shown live on BBC Scotland at Saturday lunchtime.

Premier Sports will then broadcast Celtic against Falkirk that night before showing Rangers against Cove Rangers on Sunday evening.

Queen of the South and Hibernian will conclude the Third Round fixtures in front of the BBC cameras on Monday night.

The other non-televised fixture dates will be confirmed in due course.
