St James Quarter will now include a world renowned name in fitness in its retail mix when it opens next year.

Peloton which was founded in New York in 2012 is a globally known name in fitness and they will open a showroom where you can see and try the indoor bikes available to buy. They will also have their branded fitness gear available for sale.

Chris Pyne, Head of Leasing for St James Quarter, commented: “Peloton has successfully combined our desire for technology within its fitness products and online training, revolutionising methods of at-home exercise which have become so important in these challenging times. We’re very excited to announce that they will be bringing their unique offer to St James Quarter with their new showroom.” 

Martyn Clark, International Director of Real Estate Development for Peloton, added: “St James Quarter stood out as a key location for us, as we continue to expand our retail footprint, and we look forward to introducing more people to the Peloton brand.”

The Peloton bikes are very high tech bringing studio style workouts on a bike to your home. There are thousands of classes available and you can join in to get that real-life motivation that you really need to get fit. There will also be a treadmill class available this December.

St James Quarter has now secured over 80 brands who will open their doors at the new development next year. There will also be an Everyman Cinema, homes to buy and the W Edinburgh hotel with a luxury Aparthotel by Roomzzz as well as nine new public squares.
