The Spartans have announced the signing of former Hibs’ youngster Gregor Woods on the eve of the 2020-21 Lowland League opener against Gretna.
Midfielder Woods was an integral part of Dougie Samuel’s squad last season whilst on loan and the manager is pleased to have the talented playmaker as part of the side on a permanent basis.
Having moved across the capital during pre-season last year on a development loan, the 19 year old impressed the Spartan Army faithful during his 28 appearances in the white and red.
Woods will be keen to help get his side off to winning ways next weekend in the opening round of fixtures and build on a brace of back-to-back pre-season clean sheets.

In addition he has been published in the Edinburgh Evening News and the Hibernian FC Programme.
