Hibs started their pre-season fixtures with a 1-1 draw against St Mirren in a closed-doors bounce game at East Mains today.

No fans were allowed inside the training centre and players had to use their own transport to and from the venue.

Jack Ross changed all eleven players at half time after Hibs ended the half a goal down thanks to a Jay Henderson effort.

Youngster Jamie Gullan equalised in the second half after good work on the right from new signing Drey Wright.

Central defender Ryan Porteous played his first 45-minutes since suffering a serious injury in January whilst new signings Alex Gogic and Kevin Nisbet carried out some fitness work ahead of the game and did not take part.

The Premiership starts in three weeks time with Hibs die to face Kilmarnock at Easter Road.
