British Transport Police are today appealing for information after two women were assaulted in Edinburgh.

The incidents happened around 12.40pm on Friday 29 November.

The first incident happened on a train between Haymarket and Edinburgh Park stations.

The second happened on a platform at Edinburgh Park station once the train had stopped.

Officers would like to speak to the man in the image who may have information that could help their investigation.

Anyone who knows him is asked to call BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.

In both cases, quote reference number 1900103116.
