Two Hibs’ players received awards ahead of Sunday’s game against Aberdeen at Easter Road.

Both awards were voted for by Hibs’ supporters.

Ofir Marciano picked up the Newtown Decor Player of the Month for April.

Marciano has been in superb form all season but his performance in the 0-0 draw with Celtic back on April 21, in particular, caught the imagination.

The Israel international earned 69 per cent of the vote and was presented with the award prior to kick-off by Lee Calder and William Hunter on behalf of Newtown Decor.

In addition, Daryl Horgan’s second goal in the memorable 2-1 win at Tynecastle won the Veen Barbers Goal of the Month for April.

The superb strike was also named Goal of the Season in the club’s own awards.

The Irishman’s finishing touch to a terrific bit of build-up play polled 56 per cent of the vote.

He was presented with the award by Veen Barbers owner Mako and his daughter, Ruya.
