Stephane Omeonga has been voted as the Newtown Décor Player of the Month for March by the Hibs supporters.

The popular midfielder was presented with the award by Newtown Décor Director Lee Calder, Ian Shaw and Brendan Denahy ahead of the game against Celtic on Sunday.

During the month of March the on-loan 22-year-old helped the club to a draw with Rangers and wins over Motherwell and Livingston. Omeonga earned 57% of the overall vote to win the award, with Ofir Marciano, Stevie Mallan, and Mark Milligan also in contention for the award. Voting for the Newtown Décor Player of the Month for April will open in early May.
