Hibs have handed week long trial a trial to Croatian striker Ivan Lendric.

Neil Lennon is keen to add more options up front following the departure of Simon Murray to South African outfit Bidvest Wits.

The Hibs’ Head Coach was linked to Lendric seven years ago when he was Celtic boss but the deal fell through.

At that time the highly rated youngster was playing for Hadjuk Split who had high-hopes for his future, but since then he has played for 11 clubs in an incredible nine different countries.

Lendric signed for Lens for a reported £270,000 last summer after scoring an impressive 22 goals in 37 games in Bosnia.

Things didn’t work out as planned in France although he did score six goals in seven starts for the League Two side.

Hibs’ face Asteras Tripolis tomorrow night with only two recognised first team strikers available for selection, Florian Kamberi and Oli Shaw.
