Local removal company helped a local charity with their ‘De-clutter and Donate’ service.

Edinburgh removal firm Bishop’s Move have a tradition of supporting charity, using their innovative ‘De-clutter and Donate’ scheme with donations from their customers distributed to local charities.

At the moment they are working with The Button Box founded by Diane Janczyk and Clair McLaren. Bishop’s Move Edinburgh have collected and are storing donated items to benefit the branch’s local community.

The Button Box supports families by collecting clothing for children and holding events throughout the year. The free clothing then helps support growing families. They are holding their first event on 4 March 2017 at Bishop’s Move in Penicuik.

Diane Janczyk said : “Building strong local communities is about understanding, appreciating, and caring for the people that live within them.”

Dave Mills, Bishop’s Move General Manager – Scotland, added: “One of the reasons I think it is so rewarding for businesses and employees to help the local communities around them is that the results are so visible and significant.

“It’s inspiring to see the donations making a real difference that can be seen.  As part of a nationwide company with branches throughout the country we want to ensure we remain focused on the local areas where we operate and feel part of these local communities.”
