Bee Scene in Edinburgh: if you get a buzz out of bumblebees, join this volunteer survey along the Union Canal and learn more about these fascinating creatures and the vital role they play in the environment. Leith Custom House Open Day. Scottish Historic Buildings Preservation Trust (SHBT) is leasing the Custom House for an initial five-year period, during which time it will carry out a feasibility study (which will include a consultation process) into the use of the buildings as a cultural/heritage hub for Leith. SHBT is keen to give the public an opportunity to visit the building and to begin to bring the building back to life – all are very welcome to come along today.
