British musician Ghostpoet has published details of his upcoming album release, Shedding Skin, which is to be released on 2 March 2015 through the label Play It Again Sam.

Ghostpoet, born Obaro Ejimiwe, released his new single ‘Off Peak Dreams’ at the start of the year to approval from BBC 6music and XFM, and it is a significant shift from his Some Say I So I Say Light album. The budget video, which costed over £2,000 to produce, can be viewed below.

Unlike his previous albums, Shedding Skin was recorded with a traditional live set up with what has become his touring band; Joe Newman on guitar, bass player, John Calvert and John Blease on drums. The self-produced album also features guest vocals from Nadine Shah, Etta Bond, Melanie De Biasio, Lucy Rose and Maxïmo Park’s Paul Smith.

After a couple of low-key performances in January, Ghostpoet will commence a UK tour in April to support the release of Shedding Skin. The tour dates are:
