Police in Edinburgh investigating a serious assault in the Dalry area earlier this year have released CCTV footage of a man they wish to trace as part of their enquiries.
A 48 year old man was seriously injured when an assault took place on Wednesday 24 September 2014 close to Dickens Lounge Bar, 88 Dalry Road, Edinburgh. The man responsible for the assault thereafter made off in the direction of Gorgie Road. The man pictured in the footage is of interest to this investigation, and anyone that can help trace him is asked to come forward.
PC Gavin Howat said “This has been a violent and sustained attack for the victim that has left him with a serious injury. Anyone who observed the incident or could help trace the male pictured is asked to contact police immediately”
