Police officers in Livingston are very concerned for the welfare of a local man who went missing from an address in the town earlier today.
Alistair Edwardson (44), is 6ft 6 inches tall, has blue eyes and weighs15 and-a-half stones. He has grey, whitening, short hair and is clean shaven and may be wearing Black leather jacket, black polo shirt, black trousers and black shoes.
Chief Inspector Stephen Elliot, who is leading the search, said: “Alistair failed to turn up for work today, and we are very concerned for his welfare. I would urge him, or anyone who knows where he may be, to contact us so we can be sure he is safe.”
He is believed to be on foot and could be in the Livingston area. Police officers are using the Air Support Unit and specialist sniffer dogs to search the area and are asking any member of the public who has seen Alistair, or knows where he may be, to contact them on 101 or through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
