Police in Edinburgh will issue a photograph later today of a 19 year-old woman who has been reported missing.

Meantime they are appealing for information to help find her.

Siobhan Taylor was last seen at her home address in Lower Gilmore Place at around 12.45pm on Thursday 3 October 2013 but has failed to make contact with anyone since.

Concern is now growing for the 19-year-old’s well-being and anyone who can help locate her is asked to come forward.

Siobhan is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall with a medium build, medium-length brown hair and a fair complexion. She speaks with a Scottish accent.

Inspector Chris Scobbie said:- “Siobhan has not been seen or heard from by friends or family since Thursday and we are keen to establish her whereabouts as soon as possible.

“Anyone who believes they have seen Siobhan in the past couple of days or who knows where she is should contact police immediately.

“I would also ask that Siobhan comes forward if she sees or hears this appeal and let us know she’s safe and well.”

Those with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively, the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
