The festival, which takes place over an action-packed week from 22-28 October, has over 50 unmissable shows. With top international headliners, Irish comedy legends and new performers, the Galway Comedy Festival will have something to tickle everyone’s ribs.

The Galway Comedy Festival is just one of many events happening in Ireland as part of The Gathering 2013. It’s a year-long celebration of all things Irish and anyone with a connection or interest in celebrating the traditions, heritage and history of Ireland is welcome to join in the fun. Hundreds of events are taking place throughout the year – ranging from comedy festivals, clan reunions, family-get-togethers, community activities, food festivals and sporting events to larger national celebrations.
