Eggscellent start to the Easter weekend for BEAR Scotland

It’s a Good Friday for the team at BEAR Scotland’s Loanhead depot, as they received fifty Easter eggs yesterday, courtesy of the National Trust for Scotland.

The conservation charity gave away 50 Cadbury Easter eggs to 2 Scottish workplaces on a competition it ran on Twitter. John Scott, who works at the Loanhead base, won the eggs for his colleagues.

The Easter eggs were generously supplied by Cadbury who have teamed up with the National Trust for Scotland this Easter to put on activities to keep all the family amused over the Easter weekend. There are 45 Easter trails taking place all over the country this weekend, including at Newhailes in Musselburgh and at Gladstone’s Land and the Georgian House in Edinburgh City Centre.

National Trust for Scotland Communications Manager, Sarah Cuthbert-Kerr said:-“We were thrilled to deliver the eggs to BEAR Scotland. These guys are working hard to keep our roads clear in the snow. They deserve this special Easter treat and it was great fun to be the Easter bunny for an afternoon.”

The competition was open to workplaces in Scotland and was run on Twitter at www.twitter.com/N_T_S  last weekend
