Are you passionate about theatre? Have you seen a show from the National Theatre of Scotland? And are you keen to spread the word about the company in your community?
If so, you might be just the person the National Theatre of Scotland is looking for to become one of its small team of Champions. These are new, voluntary roles that will work alongside the National Theatre of Scotland team to find ways for communities to discover the company’s work – for example organising local events, or using social media to create conversations.
In return, you’ll become a vital part of the National Theatre of Scotland team, and you’ll have exclusive access to the creative process – from the first day of rehearsals to the opening night, with free tickets to see shows.
To apply to become a National Theatre of Scotland Champion simply email champions@nationaltheatrescotland.com, explaining who you are, where you live and (in no more than 200 words) why you think you’re right for the role and what first steps you would take. Applications close on Friday 9 March 2012, and Champions will be appointed in early April 2012.
