Frances Heath, Edinburgh’s only female professional boxer, is due to take to the ring for the third time on Friday 13 March 2026 at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Glasgow.
Her latest opponent is yet to be confirmed.
Frances turned professional in 2025 and took to the boxing ring in May of that year for her paid debut against Naila Abigail Pelosorivero from Argentina. She took the win on a points decision then followed up on October 31 with a second outing against Kameeljeet Kaur from India.
Both girls went toe to toe in the centre of the ring for the full six rounds leaving the referee opting to score the contest as a draw.
Frances’ is training out of Craigmillar Boxing Gym under the watchful eye of trainer Kenny McCartney.
Aongside training full time Frances works as a Pupil Support Assistant and is also attends University to become a Physical Education teacher.
