Meanwhile in Portobello the Loony Dook went ahead…

Despite the chilly temperatures the Loony Dook in Portobello went ahead as planned.

Some very brave people challenged themselves to dive into the waves AND pose for photos while doing it.

This was only one of the swims which took place today. Hundreds of people also went for a dip at South Queensferry, many of them in fancy dress.
