Snowy city from on high - The Edinburgh Reporter

Edinburgh has had its first snow of this winter, bringing with it a few problems on the roads.

But seen from above the city is quite beautiful.

Edinburgh Castle has been closed today and the Castle of Light has been cancelled tonight owing to the weather and the difficulties that snow and ice pose on the cobbles. But below is a photo of the lights from last night.

Due to a yellow weather warning in effect for Sat 23 Nov, and Sun 24 Nov, the castle may need to close during the day to ensure visitor and staff safety.
