‘Luxury’ hotel option in central Dublin

A luxury independent hotel recently opened in Dublin city centre called The Chancery and it is claimed to be a new beacon of luxury in the heart of the city.

The PR claims this hotel offers one of the city’s most refined hospitality experiences and the blurb added: “The Chancery Hotel brings its guests an exceptional blend of modern sophistication, timeless design, and unparalleled service, providing a base from which to explore this vibrant city.

“Located behind Dublin Castle, this corner of  Dublin city has fast become one of the most sought after districts.

“Dubbed Little Italy because of the Italian migrants who settled in the late 1800’s, guests can step out of the hotel onto a cobbled stone street and into a myriad of historic landmarks, local artisan eateries , museums  and a wide choice of distilleries, iconic attractions and much much more.”

The hotel also has a wellness hub featuring a small dip pool, treatment room, hammam area with sauna/steam rooms and a state of the art gym.

Brid Cloonan, the hotel’s general manager, said: “The Chancery Hotel is committed to offering guests a distinctive and memorable experience. As well as operating on an entirely fossil fuel free basis.

“Sustainability is an integral part of our hotel culture and we have been certified with LEED Gold status which is the gold standard in rating systems for green buildings across the world and the hotel is also Green Hospitality Certified.”

The Chancery offers nightly rates from €220 on a B&B basis
