Graeme wins classic Newbattle golf championship

The final of the Newbattle Golf Club championship turned out to be a classic with eventual winner Graeme Reid shooting a seven under par scratch score of 62 against runner-up Dean Brock who completed the first round in 68.

In the Ladies championship Mo Cunningham defeated Fiona Winchester.
