Conservatives launch their Scottish manifesto
Today it is the turn of the Scottish Conservatives who will launch their manifesto in the run up to the General Election on 4 July. The party has advised that one of their key pledges will be upgrading Scotland’s rural trunk road network.
Improvements to key routes – including the A9, A96, A90, A75, A83 and A1 – will be listed as one of five “top priorities for Scotland” in the party’s document – which may not have much effect on people living here in the capital, except for the A1.
Watch out for more news about the launch in central Edinburgh today with a VIP guest.
