Any candidates are asked to get in touch – there are about 30+ in the five constituencies – these are the people we have already spoken to below
This week at the council
There is a fairly full week of meetings, but given that the Transport Convener is a candidate in Edinburgh South West, the agenda for this week’s Transport meeting looks scaled back. This will be to avoid any discussion of political matters during the election campaign.

Thursday, 20th June, 2024
- 10.00 am Transport and Environment Committee – Dean of Guild Court Room – City Chambers
At the Transport and Environment Committee councillors will discuss the £550,000 of changes proposed for Elm Row and the surrounding area to improve pedestrian and active travel access while supporting businesses in the area. A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is already in place and will be used to introduce some permanent changes on Elm Row and Brunswick Street. Some additional parking and loading will be introduced to Leith Walk and the way a couple of junctions operate will be changed. Read more here

Seafield drop in event on Saturday
The event is at Portobello Town Hall on Saturday and will be an opportunity to discuss proposals and ideas for developing Seafield.
Go along and see the emerging proposals for the Seafield Regeneration Masterplan and share your thoughts with 7N Architects and The City of Edinburgh Council. Read more here.
