New art exhibition – with a new way of exhibiting
Jar in Action will be touring to Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop on Thursday of this week before touring to Libraries and then Edinburgh Printmakers at Castle Mills over the next few weeks.
Those taking part in workshops submitted a jar with their sculpture inside it, their name and the title of their work. This will now form a touring exhibition to encourage community engagement.
Fusion Art want to engage the public and provide creative opportunities in Edinburgh and are promoting this idea around the city. It is designed to be accessible, as an exhibit or to take part in. The call out was simple – what does sustainability mean to you? The artists then submitted their sculpture in a jar.
