Man arrested in connection with break-ins

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a number of break-ins in Edinburgh.

Police officers were called to reports of housebreaking in the Gillespie Street and Merchiston Avenue areas on the morning of Tuesday, 13 February, 2024.

Dog handler PC Euan Storrar attended with PD Milo who traced the man and recovered stolen property.

The 29-year-old appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 14 February, 2024.
