Police charge 15-year-old youth after two teenagers assaulted near Pentland Hills

A 15-year-old youth has been charged after two teenage boys were assaulted in the Swanston area near to the Pentland Hills on Saturday evening.

A 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old male were both assaulted, with the 16-year-old then also the victim of theft.

A police spokesperson said: “Around 11.05pm on Saturday, 10 April, we received a report that a 17-year-old male youth was the victim of an assault and theft, and a 16-year-old male youth the victim of an assault in the Pentland Hills area.

“A 15-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged in connection.”
