Members of the public can shape the future of the Automated Number-plate Recognition System (ANPR) by anonymously completing this survey and share their views.

The technology is used by police forces across the UK.

It is used to alert officers to stolen vehicles, vehicles that have been involved in crime or to help find missing people.

The data they collect can also be used in investigations.
