Watch out for scam phone calls claiming to be from internet service providers

Police Scotland have issued advice to the public to help prevent them becoming a victim of fraud.

Be aware of scam phone calls from people claiming to be from internet service providers advising of connectivity issues & requesting to take control of devices remotely in order to resolve the problem.

The scammers will try to remotely access banking details or request money to be transferred.
