Napier University looking for work placements

Most of the courses at Napier University have a work-based learning experience or a work placement and university bosses are currently looking for new partnerships.

A spokesman said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for your organisation to work with high quality students who are keen to apply theories and techniques learned through their studies to real world situations.”

Benefits include a cost-effective solution to a skills gap, the development of staff through mentoring or supervision of the student and the provision of new ideas.

And a student may also give a business the chance to devote time to a project which they have not had the capacity or resource to do.

The university stress that their placement team will support businesses and can also provide help and guidelines.
