Woman taken to hospital after car overturns in one vehicle crash

A woman was taken to hospital following a one-vehicle crash at the weekend.

Emergency services were called to Waterfront Park just after 4pm yesterday following reports of a collision.

The vehicle overturned and when police arrived it was on its roof.

The female driver was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for assessment.

A police spokesman said: “At about 4.05pm on Sunday, 4 October, 2020, a one vehicle road traffic crash happened on Waterfront Park in Edinburgh.

“A car overturned and ended up on its roof.

“The female driver was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary to have her injuries assessed.”
