Police in East Lothian seize significant quantity of heroin during #OperationJuneau

Police officers in East Lothian have provided an update of #OperationJuneau activity carried out over the weekend.

#OperationJuneau was launched to combat substance misuse in #EastLothian and during the course of the initiative officers have arrested and charged a number of people and recovered drugs worth tens of thousands of pounds.

Over the weekend officers have executed further drugs warrants in Dunbar, Haddington and North Berwick.

Heroin with a street value of £16,500 has been recovered.

In Dunbar a man and woman, both 18, were arrested and charged in connection with the supply of class A and class B drugs.

In North Berwick a 53-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the supply of a class A drug.
