Former Hibs’ manager leads Everton to FA Cup final at Wembley
Former Hibs’ manager Willie Kirk led Everton to the Women’s FA Cup final with a superb 3-0 victory over Birmingham City last night.
Northern Ireland forward Simone Magill opened the scoring just before half-time and Denmark’s Nicoline Sorensen doubled the Toffee’s lead after the break.

France striker Valerie Gauvin added a third late on to secure a memorable victory.
Everton will face either holders Manchester City or 14-time winners Arsenal at Wembley on 1 November.
After the final whistle Kirk told BBC: “It’s a big thing for the club. We’ve never been to Wembley, although we’ve won FA Cups before and that’s what we want to get back to.
“I think they were great. I thought they were very professional. The performance was not perfect, but obviously good enough.”
