Two missing persons have been found safe and well following police appeals

Police Scotland have reported that two missing persons have been traced following appeals for help from the public and the media.

Photographs of both were circulated widely whilst officers carried out routine enquiries.

As a result Clair Parks who had been reported missing from the Penicuik area has been traced safe and well. 

In addition, 67-year-old Alexander Cunningham who was reported missing from the Craigmount Drive area of Edinburgh has also been found safe and well.

Officers would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.
