Family of missing man told of body recovered from water near Berwick

The body of a man has been recovered from the water in Lamberton Shiels, near Berwick Upon Tweed.

Family of missing man Shaun Watson, 39, who also goes by the surname Payne and sometimes spells his first name as Shawn, who has been missing from Broxburn since Monday, 3 August, 2020 have been made aware of the discovery.

Formal identification is yet to take place and a post mortem will carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death.

 The death is not being treated as suspicious.
