Jack Ross wants to find solution to Kamberi situation sooner than later
Hibs’ Head Coach Jack Ross has revealed that Swiss striker Florian Kamberi will not be part of his plans for the forthcoming season which kicks off on Saturday at home to Kilmarnock.
Kamberi is currently at home in Switzerland with his family as he looks for a club.
After arriving at Easter Road on loan from Grasshoppers, Kamberi quickly won over the fans with a goal against Motherwell.

His form impressed Head Coach Neil Lennon and the move became permanent in the summer but a well-publicised fall-out with the Northern Irishman culminated with his departure.
Last January, Kamberi moved to Ibrox on-loan with Greg Docherty going in the opposite direction but his comments about playing for Rangers being a ‘dream’ infuriated Hibs’ fans and ended any hopes of his returning to play for the club.
He has been linked to a number of clubs including Rangers who wanted to continue the loan arrangement but he made it clear that he is looking for a permanent deal.
Ross told Sky Sport: “He remains a Hibs player obviously because he’s contracted for another season but he’s not been involved in any of our pre-season planning or fixtures and we are working toward finding a solution for both parties, player and club and the sooner that happens the better for everyone concerned.
“It’s not really disrupted too much of what I’m doing pre-season but like I say I think it would be healthy for everyone involved if we found a resolution sooner rather than later.
When asked if he was planning without him he replied : “Absolutely.”
