Hibs’ fans will be checking their phones every few minutes this morning as the club are poised to make two or possibly three new signings today.

Dunfermline striker Kevin Nisbet who scored 23 goals last season and was the subject of two failed bids from Hibs and Dundee United  in January is understood to be on the point of completing a six-figure deal.

Former St Johnstone winger Drey Wright  made 45 appearances over two seasons with St Johnstone but turned down the offer of a new contract and has been training with Hibs for the past two weeks is also expected to put pen to paper.

Another potential name on Jack Ross’s list is former Hamilton Academical defender Alex Gogić who  left New Douglas Park on the expiry of his contract at the end of May and has been on the radar of several Premiership sides since then.

Speculation about Martin Boyle’s future remains as the Australian international about to start the last year of his contract with interest reported from Michael O’Neil at Stoke City.

There have been no further updates about the potential swap deal between Florian Kamberi and Greg Docherty.

The club have been given the green light to play a bounce game against St Mirren at the East Mains Training Centre on Saturday.
