Next week the Edinburgh Gilbert and Sullivan Society will take to the stage at The King’s with their latest production, Patience.

From 17 to 21 March 2020 the Old Dame of Leven Street will resonate with the voices of five principal women and a 20 women strong chorus, and a few men too of course.

After the five star success of The Mikado earlier this year, EDGAS are excited to return to the King’s theatre with Patience, Gilbert & Sullivan’s witty masterpiece about the Aesthetic movement of the 1880s.

With willowy youths, sighing maidens, hearty milkmaids and burly officers galore, it tells the story of two rival poets and the superficiality of the women who blinding adore them.
