Both clubs have been involved in controversial refereeing
decisions over the past few days with John Robertson claiming Inverness
Caledonian Thistle should have had a penalty against Hibs whilst Rangers
players were furious when Hearts’ midfielder Loic Damour was not sent off after
a deliberate handball at Tynecastle.

Clancy will take charge of the fixture with Hibs hoping to
stay in the running for a potential European place, whilst Hearts continue
their battle to avoid relegation at the bottom of the Scottish Premiership.

Specsavers Gyle store director Craig Daker, said: ‘We were
thrilled that Kevin took the time to stop by and visit us in his capacity as a
referee before the Edinburgh derby.

‘Specsavers is proud to support the Scottish referees and
our partnership with the Scottish FA goes far beyond just a logo on a shirt.

‘We’re committed to helping to provide grassroots training
for potential referees, inspiring respect for match officials and making sure
their eyes are in top condition through regular sight and hearing tests carried
out in our stores across Scotland.’
