EP Release and tour for Edinburgh band

The EP launch event for Thought will take place at Bar Brig on Friday 28 February 2020.

The Edinburgh based nine-piece funk band is led by guitarist Honza Kourimsky featuring musicians from across Europe. Combining funk, blues rock, jazz and psychedelia, the band takes its name from the ‘Jimi Hendrix Experience’.

Following their first active year of performing within the Scottish music scene, Jimi Get Your Funk On released their self-composed and self-produced EP Thought on Monday 3 February 2020.

The four-track EP contains a selection of ballads, rock jam and chants inspired by jazz, soul, hip-hop, psychedelic rock and old-school funk.

The four-date EP tour will start at Mucky’s Bar in Perth on Tuesday 25, visit The 13th Note in Glasgow on Wednesday 26 and Monty’s Rock Bar in Dunfermline on Thursday 27 and end at Bar Brig in Edinburgh on Friday 28 February 2020.
