Hibs announce three departures from Easter Road
Oli Shaw has agreed a permanent move to Ross County for an
undisclosed fee, in addition to a specified percentage of any future transfer.
The Hibernian Academy graduate scored 12 goals in 65 appearances for the club.
A club spokesperson said: “It goes without saying that Oli
leaves with the best wishes of everyone at Easter Road Stadium and the
Hibernian Training Centre.”
Meanwhile goalkeeper Chris Maxwell has had his loan spell
cut short.
After moving to Easter Road in the summer, Maxwell provided
valuable competition for Ofir Marciano and, latterly, Adam Bogdan.
The Welshman saved Niko Hamalianen’s spot-kick to see off
Kilmarnock and book Hibs a place in the Betfred Cup semi-finals.
A club spokesperson said: “Everyone at the club would like
to thank Chris for his efforts and wish him well for the future.”
In addition, Development Squad defender Kosovar Sadiki has
joined Finn Harps on loan for the 2020 League of Ireland Premier Division
season.
Sporting Director Graeme Mathie said: “We are delighted to
confirm this loan move for Kosovar.
“Our loan strategy has been a key part of our player
development programme for some time and we are now exploring opportunities for
our players to move to other countries in order to gain different experiences
and challenges.
“I’ve been really impressed with Finn Harps in my
interactions with their manager, Ollie Horgan, and their secretary, Kathy
Taffe.
“The League of Ireland Premier Division is a good standard
for Kosovar to play in for the season.
“I hope he is the first of many of our young players to
embrace cross-border loan opportunities and our staff will be keeping in touch
with him regularly over the months ahead to make sure he is training and
playing at the standard we expect of our young players.”
