Jamie-Lee Napier wins SWPL Player of the Month award

Hibernian Ladies’ Jamie-Lee Napier has been named Scottish Building Society SWPL Player of the Month for October.
Napier has been in sensational form for Grant Scott’s
high-flying side, who clinched second spot in the league with Sunday’s win over
Forfar Farmington.
The award comes as a timely boost ahead of Sunday’s SSE
Scottish Women’s Cup Final against Glasgow City at Tynecastle Park.
She who won her first senior Scotland call-up back in
August, edged out Clare Docherty (Kilmarnock), Donna Paterson (Forfar
Farmington) and Kirstie Mcintosh (Hamilton Academical) in the public vote,
which was hosted on the Scottish Building Society website.
She scored four goals across the month, which included wins
over Forfar Farmington and Rangers.
Jamie-Lee said: “I’m delighted to have won this award.
October was a strong month for us as a whole and I’m pleased to have played my
part in the success.”
Paul Alexander, Head of Business Development & Strategy
at Scottish Building Society added: “A huge ‘well done’ to Jamie-Lee for
winning the award.
“She was narrowly defeated in the May voting but managed to
go one step further this time around.”
Remember, Jamie-Lee and her team-mates are hoping to round
off another successful season in style in Sunday’s SSE Scottish Women’s Cup
Final against Glasgow City.
