Unlucky for Forfar as Hibs hit THIRTEEN

Hibernian Ladies scored an incredible 13 goals without reply
against Forfar Farmington last night at the club’s training centre in the
Scottish Women’s Premier League

Siobhan Higgins opened the floodgates for Grant Scott’s team
with her first goal for the club.

Rachael Boyle added a second before Hibs were awarded a penalty
when Jamie-Lee Napier was brought down by keeper Fiona McNicoll and Siobhan Hunter’s
resultant spot-kick was saved.

Hibs made it 3-1 in the 18th minute when Higgins added her second
of the night and added a fourth just before the break after Napier beat the
offside trap.

Collette Cavanagh’s header in the 46th minute
made it 5-0 then moments later Boyle grabbed her second of the night.

After replacing Shannon McGregor Amy Gallacher made it 7-0 with
a great effort in the 59th minute with a superb low strike which left the
keeper helpless.

Chelsea Cornet made it 8-0  in the 65th minute before substitute Lia
Tweedie made it nine from close range.

Napier secured double figures in the 72nd minute then made
it a hat-trick after cutting in from the left and curling the ball into the top
right corner for the goal of the night.

Napier set up Tweedie to make it 12-0 then the youngster
secured her hat-trick five minutes later from close range to complete the
memorable victory.

Hibs now face Motherwell in the semi-final of the SSE
Scottish Women’s Cup on Sunday.
