Dundee Stars skidded to their third straight defeat when they were hammered 5-1 on Tayside by Nottingham Panthers.

Stars were 3-0 down after 29 minutes but Egils Kalns replied before Panthers claimed a late double.

In Belfast, Glasgow Clan were hit for six in the Challenge Cup by Belfast Giants with Scott Pitt claiming their consolation from close-range on the powerplay.
