Elite League: Fife Flyers 6, Coventry Blaze 3; Cardiff Devils 2, Glasgow Clan 6. Challenge Cup: Belfast Giants 3, Dundee Stars 4.

Glasgow Clan secured a 6-2 road win at Cardiff Devils with goals from Matt Beca, Craig Peacock, Mac Howlett, Mathieu Roy, Rasmus Bjerrum and Matthew Heywood.

The sides were level at 1-1 after the first 20 minutes but Clan upped the tempo to win the second 3-0 and they ended the final session 2-1.

At Kirkcaldy, Coventry Blaze hit-man Tim Crowder played a major part in securing another win for fired-up Fife Flyers.

The Canadian scored two goals and set-up two other strikes in the 6-3 victory to complete a league double over the Midlands side.

Caro Finucci with two goals and Chase Schaber and Kyle Just with singles completed Fife’s scoring.

Anthony Beauregard slotted a double in the final ten minutes as Dundee Stars shocked Belfast Giants 4-3 in Northern Ireland.

Beauregard struck after 51 minutes and then on an empty net inside the final two minutes after Giants had withdrawn their netminder.

Kevin Dufour netted the other two goals to end a disappointing run of form for the Tayside team.
