Edinburgh Festival Fringe – REVIEW – Mark Bunyan – : Forty Years Out
Those of you who remember the Edinburgh Fringe during the ‘80s may recall the incorrigible crusader Mark Bunyan and his cryptic witty songs – “Is s/he one? I’d never have guessed”.
The Vegetarian Song – “I’m eating Bambi on Sunday,” or the melancholic Alone with you.
After all these years Mark is once again back on the Fringe performing his one man show on his keyboard with a raft of genuine nostalgia (for those of us who were around in the ‘80s), and a new sparkling new selection of hilarity – The Allergy Song and Billy (The IKEA Song).
Warning. The venue although just around the corner on Johnston Terrace from the Hub and the Edinburgh Tattoo queue, is not easily found – bad signage!
But it is really worth persevering for some serious and thought provoking laughter.
Mark Bunyan: Forty Years Out, 19.05. Runs until 26th August.
