Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2019 – Diane Chorley will keep you out late
Cult icon and The Duchess of Canvey herself, Diane returns with a brand new hour of live music and character comedy.
But this is no ordinary Fringe show – this year, the Duchess has been given license to rebuild her iconic 80s haunt, The Flick – brick by brick this site of historic hedonism will be planted in the heart of Edinburgh, serving as a purpose-built, immersive venue throughout the Fringe.
Even if you come alone, you never really feel alone and you’ll leave as part of a united community and with a hundred new friends.
Join her on a hilarious journey of self-discovery as she reclaims her place in the heart of a divided Britain. Check in your (faux) fur coat, grab a cocktail and prepare to be reunited on the dance floor.
The Edinburgh Reporter went along to meet Diane at The Flick one morning after the night before. You can go to The Flick too any night at 11.00pm and relive the Eighties along with a giant disco ball and fake palms..
