In these uncertain and unlikely days there is perhaps nothing more thrilling than the prospect of the juxtaposition of one of the world’s most illustrious orchestras playing in one of Edinburgh’s football stadiums.

It takes place tonight. Tickets are probably sold out but it may be worth checking with the EIF box office anyway. And below is the programme of music the orchestra will perform and for those lucky 15,000 who will be there the details of where to go are underneath.

Stadium opens: 5.30pm | Performance starts: 7.00pm

Please arrive at Tynecastle Park stadium in plenty of time before the concert starts at 7.00pm. Stand ticketholders should enter the stadium through the entry stand and area block marked on your ticket. Ticketholders with Pitch seating can enter through any entrance.

The stand entrances are located around the stadium and you will only be able to gain access to the event through the entrance gate marked on your ticket unless you are seated on the Pitch. Please ensure each member of your party is holding their own ticket ready to be scanned at the turnstiles. See a map of the stadium and entrances, and find details about access and travelling to the event here.
